Can you copy cd's to put music on the ipod touch? If so please help.

Yes. iTunes on the computer includes a feature to rip CDs and puts the music in the iTunes Music library. Then just sync the music to the iPod..

Go to iTunes>Help>Import music...>Import form CDs

ANd if your music was also ripped on another machine you can import it as well. All my music was ripped from cd's on a variety of mac's or pc's. Just import it into the iTunes library then you can sync your choice to the iPod.


It works very well, and in fact, since I haven't downloaded any of my music, I seem to have fewer issues with syncs or other things since I don't have any DRM issues getting in the way.


Downloading music is easier for those that don't want to shop or deal with physical discs, but from a file management standpoint, ripped music is far easier to deal with.
