Why wont itunes download?

I removed Itunes from my computer because it wouldn't allow me to restore my phone and so I thought that if I removed Itunes and redownloaded it then everything would be ok. However, now I can't install itunes at all. I go to the apple website and click on Download Now and it takes me to the next page but nothing downloads, NOTHING. It doesn't start downloading or anything, it does nothing. Ive tried multiple browers and adjusted proxy settings and turned on pop up blocker but nothing seems to be helping. I need help because my phone is completely shut down and I cant do anything about it without Itunes on my computer. What should I do?
