Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to enable my Mac to open a medical CD with sonogram images. The CD will open with no trouble on a PC but will not open on my Mac.

What format are the images? Mare they a standard format (JPEG, TIFF, PNG, etc), or do they require specialized software to view them? I'm betting on the latter, and that software is probably Windows-only.
Thanks, but now I have another problem. I tried to re-insert the disc to get the information you asked about but I can only get the disc in halfway. It is blocked by something. Others are having this same problem but the suggestions offered to clear it aren't working.
Take a look at OsiriX. It's a free download.
Restart your computer and as your restarting just hold down the left click on the mouse .. once it's fully booted up reinstert the disc
In addition to jsd2's advice, ensure that the images were saved in the DICOM format; otherwise, the program can't read them.
