can I call my iPhone from my own mac?
When I try to use Face Time from my home mac it gets through to my iPhone but on the mac I just continue to get the ringing out tone. Is this because they both use the same apple ID?

Hi Robert,
Try "calling" your phone number from your Mac and not your Apple ID / email. The iPhone is the device that will be registered with Apple using your phone number, this will allow a connection from the "Phone number" to your "Apple ID" to take place and hopefully avoid any issues with both devices having the same Apple ID.
Hi there,
I can't call my phone from Mac, even when calling ph number instead of email/apple ID. I actually receive a call on my phone but when trying to answer it I get a communicate "Connecting..." and nothing happens. My Mac at the same time is still ringing. I tried setting up Port Forwarding in my router as found in support page but still does not work. Neither calling my phone nor any of my friends.
