my daughters ipod touch is stuck on the enter passcode screen and will not respond after entering passcode, voice mode is also stuck on. have tried to reset with no response either

You need to turn off VoiceOver. Try triple clicking the Home button and unlock and go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see:

Thank you lllaass. The three or four finger scroll started a feature of the phone scanning each item in the catigory until it got down to Accessability at which point I double-touched to enter and eventually was able to switch off VoiceOver.
