webkit2webprocess stopped working / Broken Tabs

Hi

I'm having lots of problems with the Windows version of Safari - the 5.1.4 update did not fix any of the main problems;

  1. webkit2webprocess.exe has stopped working
    I've had this message about 20 times today, after the update to 5.1.4
  2. With multiple tabs open, clicking the back button closes all tabs
    This problem has been around for ages, whenever I have multiple tabs open, five or six or more, clicking the back button on the foremost page to go back a page results in all the tabs disappearing. If I click the forward button straight away the tabs reappear.

I have this problem on two PCs that are running Windows 7.

Anyone else got these problems, I'm just about ready to dump Safari ...

Wow, I admire your patience. Safari is nice in many ways but this is unacceptable. I gave up days ago on my work machine running Windows. Safari on iMac at home is OK. Firefox works fine on Windows. And Konqueror on Linux is great too. My main disappointment is that I don't have that nice READER feature that Safari had.
