Q: Unable to QuickLook ONLY on XSAN

Ever since we've upgraded our MDC's, OD's and clients to Lion we've been experiencing some of the adventures everyone's facing with Lion.
 
One issue I could not find anyone else experiencing is an issue regarding the QuickLook Preview (spacebar from finder) on MOV ProRes files located on XSAN.
 
I've created 2 video files, one ProRes and the other H264, both were saved on my desktop and I'm able to QuickLook into them and play them using Preview.
Whenever I copy them to the XSAN, as a fiber client connected directly to the Xsan, I'm unable to QuickLook into the ProRes file (gray window not playing anything) and theres no thumbnail pic on the icon, while the other media file H264 is playable on QuickLook and does have a small thumbnail icon pic.
Double-clicking plays both files fine on QuickTime.
If I AFP to a server sharing the XSAN volume, I'm able to QuickLook into ProRes files, this happens only when QuickLooking through a fiber client connected directly to Xsan.
 
I thought this may be a migration issue and had cleaned-installed one of the stations to make sure no bad residues are left, still happens on fresh stations.
 
We're running the latest 10.7.2 on all servers and clients, Xsan 2.3 ofcourse.
 
 
Anyone facing the same problem?

    Its a bug. We had a simalar issue with QuickLook (space bar preview) on our san. However it works fine now. I think it fixed itslef when I backed up the data, wiped, then created a new volume and repopulated the san. After that it seemed to work. Did you migrate your volume form SNL or is it a new volume created in Lion?
