voicemail iphone 4s sprint

Yes, I've been having this problem too. It started after updating to 5.1. I've reset it, and it won't appear, then it will, and I can't play them at all. It was working fine before the update. I also have the 4s too..

I found that if I turn off the running process, (double click the home button, touch the phone icon at the bottom for two seconds, then hit the delete icon on the phone icon) and wait a couple minutes then open the phone app again, the voicemail works. I think Sprint and voicemail don't like the process being left on in the background

I have seen that problem with a few at work and it seems to be only an issue for us with Sprint phones as well. I have had luck with both turning off/on the iPhone as well as simply quitting the application, as jmt7 describes. However, this seems to be a temporary fix, as I'm having repeat issues after some time. I haven't tried the Backup/Restore fix that helped Carpetguy, and wonder if it is also was temporary.

Any word after a few days?

I'm having exactly the same problem on my Sprint iPhone 4s. Sometimes they're there, sometimes they're not. I've also had a vm show up but I can't play it until I reset. In addition, is anyone else noticing A LOT of text message sent failures? I used to have AT&T and never had this many problems with texts sending and SLOW data.

My wife and I both have iPhone 4s phones on the Sprint network. She has had this issue since she got the phone and I just started having problems as well. When is a fix going to be released for this issue?

I have a iPhone 4s with Sprint. Since the 5.1 update, the voicemail will not play when one is recieved. They show, but will not play. I have to shut the phone off everytime and restart. Wait 5 minutes and then click the phone and voicemail. They then show up. I hope they fix this SOON!!!

Is there a way to reload 5.0????

I know of 3 people in our company that are having this same issue with Spring Iphone 4S's after updating to 5.1. I have told the other 5 people in our company to NOT do the upgrade yet.

Anybody have a permanent fix yet?

when is Apple gonna do the fix? Is there a fix through Sprint for personal users (not business)?

I have been having the problem as well and am getting more than a little frustrated.
