configurator and exchange activesync

I configured Exchanged ActiveSync with a blank domain, user, email address, and the profile installed but it will not prompt for username (supervised device). It only prompts for password so it says 'cannot get mail'. Now the host is a push mail address, and when i enter all of this info manually and then install the profile it is ok but that doesn't help me roll out all these devices. If I leave these fields blank and do an unsupervised profile, it does indeed work properly and asked me for domain/user and password.

Configurator uses the same method to silently install configuration profiles on supervised devices that Profile Manager uses to install configuration profiles on enrolled devices, which doesn't allow for any user interaction to prompt for missing required information like a user id or password. Installing configuration profiles on unsupervised devices uses the same method used by iPhone Configuration Utility or iOS itself (e.g. tapping on a profile as a Mail attachment or web download on the device), which does allow for user interaction.
