My 6th Generation iPod Nano doesn't play sound out of the left channel in my 2010 BMW x5.
My old iPod nano 1st gen worked fine, my fiances identical model purchased on the same day as mine works fine.
Apple tech support won't help me and said to call BMW..... then I hung up.
Thoughts?

How long ago did you buy it from Best Buy? If it is in their return period just exchange it with them.
and I should add that I have no issues via headphones.
What model does your fiancee have?
My 6th Generation Nano is connected to my 2008 BMW right now can hear both channels.
Same thing as mine, both 16gb 6th Gen. I bought mine and hers on the same day from BestBuy.
Sounds like you need to return yours for an exchange.
Yeap. Apple tech support told me it's BMWs fault and they can't send me a replacement unit even though I explained to the guy I've had 4 other iPods hooked up and work fine. There must be something wrong with the 30pin (or whatever) apple cable port on the nano.
Sometime last summer so I'll have to go through apple. I had been using a first gen nano in the car until it got stolen a few weeks ago.
