I am not a stupid person. I have to keep telling myself this because I cannot figure out what is happening to my events.  ICloud seems to duplicate them and then erase them.  Things come and go.  I keep missing events because they are no longer on any calendar.

Someone please tell me which calendar I should be using for data entry, the cloud or the MB one?
The answer to that question and my implied ones would be much appreciated.....

If you enter events on the 'On My Mac' calendar they will only be accessible on your Mac. If you enter them on the iCloud calendar they will be accessible on any device connected to your iCloud account.

Could Apple have mentioned that somewhere?

    many thanks....
