Bulk Import Into Address Book

Hi all

I need to create a long list of addresses and then be able to import them into Address Book, where all the details will go into the correct field, so the Address goes into the address section etc and any phone numbers too.

Does anyone know how this is done? There is an import feature in Address Book but I haven't got it to work so far,

any thoughts?

Well, a CSV file is formatted with commas. Something like this:

FirstName,LastName,Address,City,State,Zip,Email,Phone,etc,etc

You can have as many or little fields as you like. It depends on your needs. The fields don't have to be in any particular order or anything. Once you begin the import process, you are able to map what fields of the CSV file link to the corresponding field in the Address Book.

Here's a sample one to work from:

John,Doe,no@email.com
Jane,Doe,not@email.com

Copy and paste the above into a text file and name it "text.csv". Then try to import that into Address Book.

Good luck. Let me know if you have any problems.
