Q: I can not find a way to get a refund.

I have went on the App Store to get a refund but the links take me in a circuitous route (App Store > iTunes Store > website, etc., etc. but the steps displayed on this page... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1933

... do not appear for me. Instead they take me back to a FAQ list rather than allow me to comment on my problem or request a refund.

How can I get a refund on an app that does not function as it was described.

I have contacted the author directly but he said I must get the refund directly through the App Store since that's how I purchased it.

Thanks for any info on this.

Hi Ron...

You can use the email form to contact Apple here > Apple - Support - Mac App Store - Contact Support

Make sure and explain that the app does not work as described at the App Store.

Thanks AnaMusic!

That was the link that Apple should have made very prominent, but unfortunately, like so many sites, you have to click-and-click-and-click, etc. to find it.

I think they do it so you won't ask for a refund.

It would be so much better if they would simply allow the developers to post demos (as so many people have noted).

Thanks but that's the page I started on (after having went first to the App Store and then iTunes Store) but they certainly don't make it easy to find the link that Anamusic posted above.
