iTunes 10.6 FAIL! No sync with iPod 5th gen!
iTunes 10.6 freezes as soon as I attempt to sync my iPod 5th gen! I end up force closing! Really Apple....this is a huge FAIL!

Plus, freezes when you adjust the size of the artwork with the little widget in the top right corner!
If you are experiencing this same problem, uninstall your current version of iTunes (10.6) and download and reinstall 10.5.3!! This is the solution until Apple creates a fix!
Where do I download 10.5.3?
I found the 10.5.3 download, but now it is telling me it can't open my library because it was created by a more recent version of iTunes. Apple, YOU REALLY SCREWED THE POOCH ON THIS ONE!!!
You need to change you "iTunes Library" to a previous version of iTunes as well. There is instructions on how to do this intire process in the "More Like This" section on the right of this page. The discussion should have a green check next to it titled "When I try to sync podcasts to my nano itunes freezes". You should be able to find everything you need there!! Good luck!
I have the same problem with 3 iPods. They hang, cannot be restored, cannot be reset, I've put them in and out of disk mode, they hang up iTunes and sometimes win 7. I've used different ports, different cables, I formatted one and NOTHING WORKS, What are you doing apple??
