iphone 3gs wont activate after updating to Ios 5.1

Question

I RECENTLY UPDATE MY IPHONE 3GS TO VERSION 5.1 AND IT WONT ACTIVATE MY O2 SIM CARD ON THE PHONE IT SAYS

Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable.

CAN ANY ONE PLEASE HELP ME I NEED MY PHONE FOR WORK ASAP

A simple search of the forums or google would have been faster than posting a new thread.

Alternatively, check the "More Like This" section to the right.
