How do I attach more than one Pages file to an email?

I am trying to attach multiple documents from Pages in an email. Does anyone know how to do it?

Sending a Pages document via email on iPad only allows you to send one file at a time. I found one workaround was to use GoodReader app for iPad (I'm sure there are others as well). GoodReader allows sending multiple attachments via email.

What I do is:

1. Send each Pages document to myself using Pages > Tools > Share & Print > Email Document

2. When the email is received in the Mail App - Tap and HOLD on the attachment until the Open In... option appears

3. Select GoodReader

4. Open GoodReader and Select Manage Files > Select the Files to be attached in the Documents window > Email -- this opens an email but with multiple attachments vice one - it works for a variety of file types, not just Pages Documents

There may be other apps like GoodReader that do similar things, but I found this early on and haven't needed anything additional.

Good Luck.

As far as I know, the formatting of docs is retained as GoodReader is only a messenger. GoodReader is used to create emails with multiple attachments, something that can't be done within most other apps. For me, the app is an essential tool on my iPad, worth the small investment. There may be others of equal value, but, as I said, I found this early on and it works for me.

That said, if you are sending resumes out, you should really consider sending them out as PDF files instead of editable word processed documents. A PDF is the same as a printed page, essentially giving the receiver a document that is already printed, all formatting done - it is really an image of your work as you edited it, whether in Word or Pages and can be viewed across platforms equally well. Also, you should always send yourself a version first to ensure it is what you expected so there are no surprises.

To create PDF versions of your documents is easy:

Pages > Tools Menu (wrench) Share & Print > Email Document > (Choose) PDF and Mail it to yourself

To open in and mail from GoodReader:

Open Mail > Select the incoming mail document > Tap and HOLD on the attachment (note: you may either see an attachment icon or the 1st page of your document in the body of your incoming email - either case is OK - that is the attachment to tap and Hold until you see Open In... > Select GoodReader.

This time you will see the PDF File in GoodReader "My Documents" area instead of a Pages document but the process is the same:

In GoodReader "My Documents" > Manage Files > Select each document to be included > Tap Email and create your final email to your prospective employers.

Hope this helps.
