Q: power outage during an apple TV update
Power went out while updating Apple TV. Now all I have is a black screen with the Apple logo on it. I tried holding the down arrow and menu button, and unplugging it but neither works. How do I get the update back?

Hi Charlotte,
Your going to have do a factory restore using your Computer and iTunes. It requires a micro-usb cable and the ATV to be in DFU MOde(holding the play and menu button for 7secs). If the ATV is in the DFU mode it will show up in itunes. After that all you should have to is click the restore button and follow directions.
Once it done you will have to setup the ATV again
