Radio Shack USB Link-Networking Cable...
I have a special USB cable, subject as above, and, though I wish I could post one, I don't have a photo and there's no link on the web, I reckon, to a photo. Anyway, this cable allows me to connect two PeeCees together, be they running Windoze 2000, NT, XP, ****, whatever. The software is GeneLink USB File Transfer and works really well. I'm able to transfer files effortlessly between computers, being exactly what I want to do. My day job is a Windoze shop. Outside of work, I'm a Mac person, through and through.
From my web searches, it doesn't look like there's a Mac-compatible software product - however, the cable was advertised as being "Mac-compatible" - well, Radio Shack doesn't much support this cable any more and asking them for assistance, well, it's a low priority...
My question: has anyone out there in Mac-land got this cable? And have you hooked up your Mac to a PC with it? What software did you use, etc.? thanks in advance.
