Apple hasn't released that info and it's against the Terms of Use to speculate. So you'll just have to wait and find out like the rest of us.

Instead of fixing the mouse acceleration which is a more than 4 year old problem, the build nice (not efficient) address book, and messages between iPhone and Macs and they change the toolbar contrast to be gray on gray where hardly someone can tell between enabled and disabled buttons. So ... who cares.
http://www.apple.com/feedback is the link for suggestions. Here they will just fall on deaf ears, as this is a user to user board.
Probably not. It costed $20 to upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard (when it's really a big update to Leopard), so it will probably be the same for Mountain Lion.
There will probably be some sort of "up-to-date" deal where if you buy hardware with Lion some period before ML ships, you can get ML.
So you just have to time your next Mac purchase just right. 8^)
Keep in mind, as soon as that's offered, if it is offered, that's the time buy from a store a Lion installed Mac. That way, in event you have Lion compatible software which hasn't been tested with Mountain Lion, at least you'll have the option to stick with Lion until Mountain Lion is ready for you. So keep your eye on http://www.apple.com/pr and http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/ once summer begins. Apple has offered up to date programs for a long time, typically up to three weeks prior to the release date, and given you a chance to know when the release date is. If you order online though, and they are out of stock, you may be stuck with a Mountain Lion only compatible machine. An authorized Apple retailer should be able to carry at least some models through http://www.apple.com/buy/ so check their stock at that time for what you desire.
im sure its not going to be free at all
As of Monday's announcements, it's $19.99 and releasing next month.
After upgrading to Mac OS X Lion, Like KTGHowie stated Mac OS X Mountain Lion is only a one time purchase fee of $19.99. Mountain Lion will be available as a single software upgrade via the Mac App Store beginning in July 2012. The BEST PART is you only have to purchase it one time to upgrade all of your Macs,

I can't wait.
Good Luck,

Based on your info. you have MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.1) so you have to pay $20 to get os x mountain lion. However, it's free for those who buy new mac machine on or after June 11.
Unfortunately it isn't the OS X software that qualifys you to have a free upgrade, if you had purchased a new Mac 11th June onwards before the official release of OS X Mountain Lion you would have qualified for the free upgrade.
No
No...unless it was bought after june 10,2012
no it is not free, I paid 19.99
and am sorry
Why would anyone think it's free? Apple clearly states that it's $19.99. The only people who are entitled to a free copy are those who bought a Mac during a specified amount of time, which is clearly stated on their website. Not to be rude, but it amazes me how many people never read details about software before purchasing it. It's almost laughable to read reviews of Mountain Lion on the App Store by people who complain about not being able to use Air Play to an Apple TV. They didn't read the system requirements, and they don't take the time to read and understand why it's not supported on Macs that were older than early/mid 2011. It's a hardware thing. Had Apple allowed Airplay to run on Macs without H.264 capable video cards, the reviews about Airplay would have been much worse. The heat produced by their Macs would have been even more annoying than not being able to use Airplay. Apple cares a lot about user experience, and I appreciate that a lot. If this was Microsoft, they would have made Airplay possible, but people with older systems would have hated it.
