I can't turn on my iPhone 4. What to do?

It all happened today at school. It was this blocked number calling me, I think it was my sister playing a prank on me or something. But after I hung up, my screen suddenly turned off. And no matter what I do it doesn't turn on again! 😟 Yup, I've tried taking out the sim-card and put it on again, nothing.

I've had this iPhone 4 since like almost summertime last year. (2011) And it's never happened before. Anyway, this is really confusing and I don't know if I should get help, etc. I even asked some of my friends, no one knows how to fix it.

I don't know much about iPhone's and stuff so I've never changed the battery (If you do that..) or anything. And no, it is not because of no charge left. I had like 80% charge or something left when that happened.

All tips & ideas are appreciated!

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1

try a hard reset

hold down the sleep/wake button at the top right hand corner, along with the home button at the bottom until you see the  logo, then let go
