Q: how do you keep the auto hide from hiding my game continuously

Im trying to play a game wich requires me to move from one point of my screen to another in order to get around my playing board, but every time i try to move around, my whole screen disapeers, and its hard getting it back, and it happens continuously, is there an auto hide i can use to make the picture stay on my desktop? Feeling very frustrated!!!
