Only if you installed "Find my iPhone" prior to the loss, you could be able to log into iCloud and track your device. If you did not install and activate your account in iCloud, there is no other way to find your iPod.

Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number).
