iPad 3 + 4G - Rogers - No Service

I received my new iPad 3 64GB + 4G today however, after inserting the Rogers SIM card I received with it - I just get a NO SERVICE notification. Is there some sort of delay before the iPad will have access to the Rogers Network?

I have no option to setup a Rogers account because of this.

Any solutions or recommendations.

Please advise - Thanks

Same problem here - i live on the east side of Montreal. I have a new ipad 32Gb with LTE. Getting "No Service" on the top left of the ipad with Rogers and Bell sim. I also have an ipad 2 sitting next to it that gets full 3G signal with the same SIM.

Tried to reset the ipad a couple time without any luck. Will go downtown montreal tomorrow to make sure it is not because of a super weak signal but since the iPad 2 is getting full signal bar, I would think the new Ipad would also get the same signal strenght when working in non LTE mode.

Sorry to hear that several of us are in the same situation. Just to clarify, I received a brand new SIM card with my new iPad.

I can't confirm, but I thought the new SIM was supposed to be specific to the Rogers LTE network. So it makes sense that perhaps the SIMs people are trying from their previous iPads aren't working. Also, I would have thought those cards would be somehow hard connected to the iPads they were activated on.

Hopefully someone from Apple or Rogers becomes aware of this thread. I'll try going to a Rogers Wireless store today, to see if they can help, but there seems to be an issue here.

I'd be curious to hear if any other Canadians have gotten their Rogers SIM cards to work.

I'm having the same problem with the new Rogers LTE SIM I received yesterday. Settings > General > About > Carrier shows Rogers 12.0 as the carrier, but I'm not seeing the View Account option under Settings > Cellular Data. With previous iPads and iPhones, connecting devices with new SIMs to a computer thorugh USB had iTunes download and install updated carrier settings, which hasn't happened for me with the 3rd gen iPad. Has anyone gotten updated carrier settings for Rogers?

I am a bit concerned that I am also getting the same exact issue with both my old Rogers sim and my new (shipped with new iPad) bell LTE sim card. I both cases I am getting the no service.

So I am hoping this is really a carrier update problem (in which case Bell would seem to have the same problem) than a hardware issue per se.
