Why does my Macbook run out of battery so quick?

My computer's battery was fully charged, it was at about 96% and after using it for like an hour on Facebook, it's down to 66% Why so quick?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

what else are you doing on your mac? Are you just using facebook and that's it?

OK how many charge cycles? What are you energy settings?

In the preferences pane "Energy Saver" have you checked the "Automatic graphics switching" (this will use the lower power Intel Integrated graphics chip rather than the faster dedicated one):
