Ive been having problems with connecting to my modem; via wifi, my service provider said it broadcasts in 802.11b,g,n. in the security type box it says wpa personal, when I try to connect to it it always pops up with a error message. I'm confused lol... What should I do?

um apparently i already have this update... its saying that my software is currently up to date, but its still not letting me connect
I would suggest calling the ISP again. Ask if there is anything special you need to do to be able to use the 802.11b standard required by the original AirPort Card in the iBook.
It's possible that the original AirPort Card is defective. It's unusual, but I had one fail on me once.

As long as it isn't WPA2, it should.
