IPAD 3?

Nothing to it at all, IMHO. The new iPad is exactly as advertised; faster, prettier, more powerful, with a dazzling display and 4GLTE.

This is my first iPad, but, I have the iPhone 4. I went and bought an iPad 2 at the end of January, but only really tried it out and then returned it because the new one would be coming out soon.

I can say that in my opinion, that the few days I did have it, I was not happy with the resolution because it was not as crisp, clear and sharp as my phone. I do not feel that way about this iPad at all. It's very crisp and clear, and other that, the quality seems to me to be absolutely excellent!

Who ever stated that must not have used the new ipad. This thing is fabulous. It's everything the keynote presentation indicated and more. It's even better to use.

From a certain perspective they are right.

It only has a vastly improved display, more powerful graphics chip and added lte.

It is not a total redesign with an octo core chip, pyramid shape, hologram projector and sonic dishwasher.

Well here's a report from someone who has one....

All I can say is HOLY S%*t!!!!

The display is unreal....it's as if I was blind and now I see!!!

It is kind of nice, isn't it? ;)

I have to agree. It's my first iPad....so glad I waited for this one. When I watched a YouTube video just for the heck of it, even my husband was impressed..........and he's never impressed by much of anything!! I've already told him that he cannot continue to play with it (should never have bought Garage Band just for him....😉) or I will be forced to buy one just for him!!!

As far as the MSM is concerned, they are about the best. The folks at MSNBC, however, are all on crack, and that includes the execs.

Those truths being said, I think that people have to judge for themselves whether the new iPad is worth purchasing for their uses. For me and my iPad 2, I won't be upgrading. However, I will get a New iPad for my wife so she can upgrade her iPad 1. For her, it's a more meaningful upgrade.

I got my new iPad today. It is a replacement for the original iPad. Oh my!! What an enormous difference! It was well worth the money to upgrade. The sharpness of the screen is dramatically better. It is SO much faster - now Safari tabs change in a flash.

I can't compare it to an iPad2 as I don't own one, but anyone who is still useing the original one will be very pleased with the new iPad.

Thanks for sharing Thatchcote - Sounds like the new Ipad is awesome for iPad 1 owners, people who have never owned an ipad or for folks who have the $ to get the latest new shiny thing. I have no doubt it's an awesome device but I have an iPad 2 that I love and am not in the aformentioned categories so will stay put for now. Enjoy your new iPad! 🙂

Good to know, thanks. I want to upgrade my wife's iPad 1 to a New iPad. Glad to hear the differences are striking.

I just compared my new iPad with my hubby's iPad 2 and, Judas Priest, is the difference remarkable!!! With the iPad 2 I always wanted to blink away the "fuzziness", lol but not with with my new iPad. I find my new iPad has a bit of a warmer tone to it than the i2, but by no means yellow. I actually don't mind it.

I'm glad I upgraded.

I had the iPad 2, just bought the new iPad. It's litertly glued to my hands now. I can't put it down it so great.
