importing videos from iPhoto on mac to iMovie on iPad

I have always imported my photos / videos from my cameras directly into iphoto on my mac. I have just bought an ipad and I have been able to sync my photos on to it but no vidoes have moved over. I have opened both imovie and iphoto and can see all the photos but cant access any videos. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

Under the Photos Tab in iTunes (when looking at your iPad), there is an Include Videos Tick box.

This has to be ticked.

Also the videos have to be the correct format for iPads to play.

So Quicktime, or MP4, and ina codec iPads can read.

You may need to convert your video to a format it can view.
