How much MB in internet would a 20 minute TV show use up on average and how many MB would it use on my iPod?

A 45 minute TV show is about 200 MB for SD and 600 MB for HD. See:

How do you know if it is in HD or SD? And would it make ANY difference for use just on a iPod touch?
So 200MB for 45 mins, that's about 88 MB. 😕
The 4G is the only iPod that can play HD.
The iTunes store ays if it is HD. If you hado not ha as 4G, it will only transfer a SD to the iPod.
I have a 4G, but i only want a SD. How do i just download SD?
