Problem connection Back to my Mac

I have :

  • iMac running OS Lion
  • Macbook Pro running OS Lion
  • TimeCapsule to access internet
  • iPhone 4S to share the connection

All softwares are up to date.

All settings are fine and the ligths are green in the preferences panel.

If both computers are on the same network, there is no problem to access one or the other.

If the iMac is connected to the iPhone and Macbook to the home network (TimeCapsule), everything is fine as well.

If my iMac is connected to the TimeCapsule and the Macbook Pro is connected to the iPhone or another network, then I can't access my Mac.

I thought the whole point of BTMM was to access a Mac from a distance.

It used to work fine when I was using MobileMe, THEN Me.com. But now, with iCloud it doesn't work anymore.

I've read everywhere that the tethering mode on the iPhone is not made for that.

That is not the answer : if the iMac is connected to it, it's working perfectly fine.

Any idea ? Any suggestion ?

Thanks a lot in advance.
