App store won't download!

Hey all, im desperate for some help here.

i started download this app called aerofly fs from app store and some how my cat stepped on my mpc and it got restarted. After restart when i tried to resume download from app store but the button appears to say install not resume download, i clicked on install anyway but it does not respond, i mean the button turned grey for a few seconds and comes back to a blue install, nothing happened!!! later i tried to update a few apps and the same thing happens, app store was not responsive to download. Could somebody please help me out with this please, the app cost me 50 bucks and now i regrat buying this already...

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Try the following:

How to resume . . . : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4485

Troubleshooting . . . : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3624

Make sure you are following the proper steps per HT4485, and, if you are, then resort to TS3624. If you already purchased it but it hasn't actually downloaded, then you may need to select Store > Check for available downloads. If it doesn't find any downloads, then check your purchases and follow TS3624.

Hi Mark ..

How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:

Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In

Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.

Select the app you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.

Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

If that didn't help, quit the App Store if it's open.

Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db

Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.appstore folder to the Trash.

Then try re downloading that app and your updates.

If that didn't work either, installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo) reinstalls the App Store for you which may help.

Then try re downloading that app and your updates.

thanks samit for the reply, however for some reason the app started to download again but sadly right from the begining and now comes the new issue i accidently quit app store and after relauching the app i have been trying to download says waiting, and i have been waiting for let's say 2 hours, and it is still waiting. this dam app store is driving me crazy now.

i have a little pershian btw, and it sure likes to sleep on my keyboard as well

Might want to move your kitty elsewhere when downloading software.

I am having the same problem with Aerofly FS, i had to stop and resume it a lot of times and it still is stopping to download, it even came to 10.45gb and stopped and i had to download it all from the beginning and it failed again. It keeps saying "waiting" or "less than a minute" or it stops at a specific time and frezzes there and you cant get it out of that state.

I'm getting a little worried.

Is there any advice that can be given?
