iphone 4s serial for Replacement

Hello Guys!!

Just wanted to let people know who are wondering about the replacment iphone 4S about refurb condition.

I just found out that original or new iphones in US are with serial numbers starting with C37 (black) or C39 (white)

Replacement phone which I reiceved was starting from DQ-----------.

If you go to chipmunk.nl you can find this information they are refurb from C3 foxconn china

So, If you are getting a replacment starting with C, then its most likely a factory production unti almost brand new.

while DQ are factory reconditioned, again given how apple handles them, My DQ iphone 4s is exactly how a brand new phone

should be.

Just wanted to throw some light on the repalcment models.
