Audio/Video Sync Problem Persists

I've been running iTunes in Windows now for years and have always needed to play my videos in Quicktime because Audio and Video in iTunes will consistently drift apart after about 15 to 20 minutes of video playback. I've tried all manner of fixes, especially making sure that Windows Audio playback Rate matches that of Quicktime. Nothing works. I'm finally writing about this today because I've become disgusted with Apple's inattenton in this matter. Most of the discussions out there don't provide any real solution. I've been a loyal Apple Customer for years but my patience is running thin. I will welcome any viable solutions from the community. Thanks in advance.
