Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

iPad 3 will not charge. Did a hard reset and tried every plug I have including the one that came with it!

Any one else having this issue?

"Hard reset" is not a term used with iOS devices, se let's make sure it's nt a software issue.


Try to Reset your device:

Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first).


If that doesn't help, try a Restore.

If still not charging, take it to the nearest Apple Store, they'll check it and likely replace it on the spot. Just FYI, you have 14 days to return it.
