Apr 4, 2012 5:18 AM in response to Froggie213by Tibits,I just shot a message into the support web form black hole bugging them about this. I've got RAW files piling up. In my experience the Aperture product is fantastic, but Aperture support is weak.

Apr 6, 2012 1:29 AM in response to Froggie213by Froggie213,Apeture works with 5D MK III RAW files ONLY if you inport them as new. 5D MK III RAW files that have already been imported pre softwear upgrade are not suported!!!!!!!!!!! They appear in browser as corrupt/offline files
Work around is to export all your files as masters and re-import.
Pain in the ***, but it works...

Apr 6, 2012 1:35 AM in response to Froggie213by léonie,★HelpfulI don't have a 5D MK III to try this, but usually selecting the previously imported raw images and using the command "Photos -> Reprocess Master" will apply the new raw conversion without need to export and to reimport. Have you tried it?
Regards
Léonie

This may be moot since you just reimported, but for the ones not reprocessing correctly, are you using regular .CR2 files or sRAW/mRAW files? Also, I see you are in Browser only mode, does enabling Split view trigger a proper decode and a thumbnail regeneration or not? Lastly, if you just choose Regenerate Thumbnails with these selected does that fix them?

Apr 13, 2012 11:45 AM in response to Clemby CagHan1,I uploaded the latest version of Aperture prior to importing RAW images from my 5D Mark iii but am still unable to use the raw fine tuning. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong? I am using mRAW files.
