Final Cut Pro X projects and events are not loading

Hello

I've Read a lot of similar problems in this thread, but nothing taht were mentioned there does not work for me. 😟

Preverence Manager seemed not to do anything alsso.

So at the moment i have 5-6 events that i created about a month or two ago in events folder
and 2-3 projects in projects folder

When opening FCP X it is simply not loading any events or any projects.

all it doesit creates New Event folder with current date into FCPX Events folder.

everytime i open the FCPX i got one nw events folder... why it is creting it over and over?

Ok, it also allows to create new events and projects.

But it does not load old events or old projects.

Doubleclicking on CurrentVersion.fcpproject file will start Loading project on TimeLine, but it will never stop. it jsut loads forever and hangs the whole FCPX.

Doubleclicking on CurrentVersion.fcpevent file will simply do nothing... and nothing opens or appears.

So all of my work is simply unusable! Pelase help on this issue.
i've tried

-the tools from digital rebellions

-copying and moving the event and project folders back and forth.

-repair/verify permissions and disk

-rebooting, restarting, reinstalling

no luck

Please Help if anyone have any idea what is going on...

Are the projects and events in your Movies folder?

Yes, since the first installation.
I've used the Program in the past and then did not touch it for couple of months.
Now i'm opening it and i'm stuck with the problem i described above.

You say you have moved projests and events around but your description is unclear. Do you have events or projects with the same names on more than one mounted drive (a working drive and a backup, maybe)?

If you do, this confuses FCP X - eject one of the drives and launch FCP X again.

Try moving the Final Cut Events and Final Cur Projects to the top level of an external drive? Have you upgraded the software recently? What version are you using? What version created the the projects and events?

Ok.
I had about 20 Projects (when it were still working)
Then i quit the job on the movie for that time
And also moved the most of the projects onto external disk while leaving only the ones that needed more editing.
So i ended up with FCP X with only 6 Projects left in its original Project folders. The names of the folders has not beed modified in any way.
Now.. about 2 months later..
I open the FCP X, while thinking of continuing the movie editing on those 6 projects.

BUT

I were not able to see any projects showing up in FCP X.

Also the projects failed to load when i doubleclicked the CurrentVersion.fcpproject files from their original location(Loading starts and never ends - tried for 2.5 hours to see if it loads, it did not). 😟

TomNo upgrading were done durign that time. the version were and still is 1.0.0.1.I tried the moving trick like explained in another thread here.
I moved the files within the same SSD of my Mac.
I tried to run the projects that i backed up on my External drive (not SSD)

Pojects there, are all in the root of the external drive. No difference. Same story.No Luck. 😟

You cannot load a project by double-clicking the currentversion file. You can't open the file. It's meangingless without the folder structure that holds it. Double-clicking it doesn't tell the application where it's come from. I hope you have not damaged the files by doing this, though I don't see why it would.

At least double-clicking started up the FCP X and started loading, that never ends though..
But the problem is making me nuts.. i hope i will not have to reinstall the whole system to get it working. This would be overkill. And i do not have time machine set-up...

Some of your answers are very unclear.

Do you have any projects, or events with the same names on more than one drive?

Sorry if i mistalked a bit.
No, projects and events are all with unique names. All projects are on one local drive. All external drives are disconnected. (it did not matter though - connected or disconnected)

OK.
I solved my problem using $4.99 that i payed for application called "Events Manager X"
Triggering my events and projects with it restored all my stuff.

I too have lost all my projects and events. I downloaded Event Manager X and still nothing. I thought for sure that would fix it. All my stuff is on one external drive and all the contradictory file names have been changed as well. Any other suggestions?
