Ipod touch stops charging

When I connect my ipod touch 4 to charge (to PC or to the wall), everything goes okay till some random point when it stops charging. The battery icon shows that it is charging but it won't charge no matter how many time you leave it connected. I've already tried restoring it and it didn't work. Any help will be appreciated. Sorry for any english mistakes.

Did you restore to factory defaults/new iPod?

Have you tried another cable?

Tried another charging source?

Tehn yu very likely have a hardware problem. An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store would be in order.
