Q: Stream iTunes to older stereo system

I have a new AirPort Extreme that I use for my WiFi connection and the router for my home network.

I have two different older stereo systems that I would like to stream my iTunes music to/through (not at the same time).  One of these is a home theater system with a Marantz SR880 receiver/amp. I think I can use Apple TV to accomplish this (?).  I also have an audio-ony stereo system on a different floor in the house, it uses a B&K Reference 22220 Amp and PT3 series II Preamp.  Could AirPort Express provide the means to stream the iTunes music?

Are there an docs or web sites that provide a good how-to guide for setting up these types of capabilities on my home network, including connections, equipment recommendations, etc.?

I've searched through several posts but haven't come across any that address my specific questions (yet).

Thanks for any help!

The AirPort Express has a 3.5 mm (1/8") audio port that supports both analog and digital optical audio output. Most older receivers typically use RCA-type connectors for audio input; with newer device offering either/both optical or/and coaxial digital audio input ports. You would just need the appropriate interface cable to match your equipment.
