latency on pitchbends with midi keyboard when using external instrument (quicktime synth)

Hi

I am having an issue with latency using the pitchbend/ modwheel on my midi keyboard.

This only happens when I am using the built in quick time synth as a external instrument as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2851?viewlocale=en_US

I have never tried a real hardware external synth, but with standard midi instruments I have no latency issues.

This only appears with pitch and modwheel usage, NOT normal playing with the keys... really strange.

ps. When loading the quicktime synth in DLSmusicdevice I do not have this problem. But I like to be able make program changes directly with from my midi keyboard, and this function does no work if it is not used through the external instrument setting.
