Q: Extend my network @ home

May I use a NetGear device to extend my home network together with my Airport device or it only supports Apple's?

    Apple's "extend" feature appears to be a proprietary function that will only work among other Apple products.

     

    It would be extremely unlikely that a Netgear product....or any other manufacturer's product....would work with Apple if you are trying to extend your network using wireless only.
