Burn Multi Session CD/DVD

Hello.

Though I'm really used at being a Mac user... to be honest, I don't think I've ever tried to burn multi session a CD or a DVD.

Now, I really need to do it, but the DVD in question won't be full after the first recording...

Here's my question: Can anyone explain me how can one use 'DIsk Utility' to burn a multi session CD or DVD with personal documents?

I've found many tutorials over the internet, but they cover old version of OSX. I presume that with OS X Lion things might be different?

Thank you in advance for any help you may give me.

Best regards.

It's the same on Lion as it's always been. Collect all the files and folders into one folder if they're not already in one folder. Open Dick Utility and go to File->New Disk Image from Folder, create the DMG file.

Then in Disk Utility slect the DMG you just created, go to Images->Burn (Or press the Burn Icon) and in the window that opens make sure you select Leave disk appendable (if you don;t see that option click the down arrow in the right hand corner of the Burn Window)

That should do it

Hello!

Well, 'Disk Utility' can be found were it has always been: just go to 'Utility's' folder and you will find it there.

If you're on a Mac OS X 10.7 (or 10.8) you find everything just by clicking 'Lauchpad'. Check the first page at the bottom. If you're on a Mac OS X 10.6 (or older), you'll find it in the 'Applications' folder!

Alternatively, you can go the 'Finder' menu, on the top of the screen and click 'Go'. Then select 'Utility's'.

A folder will open and then you just need to open 'Disk Utility's'.

Hope this helped.

Kind regards.
