sound but no picture when playing a video, help?
When I try to play a video on QuickTime I can hear the sound and the bar at the bottom moves across but there's no picture. I have Windows, not a Mac. Any help woul dreally be appreciated, thanks.

Here's what my Movie Inspector states. What do I need to do to get Quick Time to show my video? Audio is working fine. Am I out of luck?
If I remember correctly, "m2v1" identifies "muxed" MPEG-2 content which has been imported from a camcorder by any current/recent version of iMovie. Basically, it is an all I-frame version MPEG-2 video. (I.e., all P- and B-frames have been converted to I-frames to make the video QT edit compatible on systems with iMovie '07 thru iMovie '11 installed.)
It also doesn't show picture on RealPlayer or Windows Media Player.
It means you're missing the video codec used in the file.
Open it using QuickTime Player and open the Movie Inspector (Window menu) to view the "Format:".
