My ipod touch 4th generation recovery mode HELP ME PLEASE

My ipod touch 4th generation works normally for a few minutes then it goes to a white screen and turns itself off, when I connect it to itunes it says its in recovery mode.

When I try to restore it says error 3194. I pressed the on/off button and the home button together and it came on and loaded up like normal. I went to check my emails and it went to a white screen and went in recovery mode again.

It's running 5.1 and I honestly don't know what's wrong with it.
