about global warranty

You are not speaking to Apple.

As The Huntress stated, the warranty is not international. The warranty is only valid in the country of purchase. In addition, you may not even be able to get out of warranty service from Apple in a country other than where it was originally sold.

China, in particular, sells iPhones with different hardware configuration than the rest of the world due to government and local stadards. There is no way you can get any kind of service for a non-Chinese iPhone in China.

Your only option is to either take the iPhone back to the US or send it to a friend who can take it back for you, then have the iPhone sent to your friend when it is repaired and he forward onto you. Apple will not ship iPhones out of the country of purchase and all costs will be your responsibility.

I think this is radicious. While global travelling is a common phenomenon nowadays, apple should sell each and every of their products with global warranty. I have bought an iphone 4s in canada 4 months ago and now it has hardware problem, the sales manager of the Hong Kongapple store told me that no one in Asia can help and the only option for me is to take the whole thing back to canada. This is not the apple's way to do business. I am so angry!!!!
