Mail: How do I move messages back to their previous Folders?

To clean up my Inbox, I made a new Mailbox that covered a subject. I went to preferences and made a new Rule to move all messages that are more than 3 days old and about the chosen subject into this Mailbox. However, instead of choosing "all" I chose "any" so every message that is more than 3 days old is in the new Mailbox.

How can I put them back wherever they were and then correct my error? Since the Inbox was originally selected, do I assume that's where they all were and just delete the rule and drag them back? Note, I do have a TimeMachine backup.
