I get sent ppt files from a Windows user occasionally and I just open them with the Mac version of Powerpoint. I imagine it would work the other way too, though occasionally some details won't work because the two versions are only 99% compatible (and there isn't a 100% method).
Is this correct? You created a Power Point presentation in Power Point for Mac. Now you want to open the presentation in Power Point for Windows. Correct?
Depending on the Power Point versions, there is no conversion necessary. You should be able to open the presentation in Power Point for Windows or Power Point for Mac..
If you create it in Microsoft PowerPoint for Mac, then yes, with nothing necessary to do so. If you are using Apple's Keynote, then you must export it as a .ppt file. then it should open in PowerPoint for Windows.
