I just bought a new Apple TV last weekend. It is my first Apple product. I registered a new Apple ID. But I couldn't log in to iTunes stores after multiple trials yesterday and today. I can log in with this ID on a PC. I don't know what is wrong, but I am going to return the Apple TV.

Where can I set the iTune store location?
The same place you enter your iTunes ID, settings > iTunes store.
It was set to United States. But still doesn't work.
Try turning off wifi encryption temporarily to see if that helps.

It's on your router. I don't suggest leaving encryption off, it's just to see if it's the problem.

There are certain types of encryption and some encryption settings that don't work with the Apple TV, rather than go through them all it was easier to turn it off to eliminate it.
I assume you've done the basic stuff, like restarting the Apple TV and the router and making sure you have an Internet connection
Yes, the connection is fine. I can see it in the router's list.
That only tells you it's connected to your network, do you have YouTube, trailers etc etc.
Yes, I can see Youtube and movie/tv shows list. But when I want to download any with a iTune account, I get stuck with the iTune account.
if you've checked all I've suggested, I'm not sure what the problem can be.
I have this same problem. Set to US and all of that...and still can't access the store.
