It just solves the problem temporarly but its quicker than reboot.

Apr 9, 2012 9:07 AM in response to tomtonby tomton,Don't know if this may help solving the problem, but I noticed today that my new iPad's cellular usage statistics are fully wrong and inconsistent with the real cellular data usage (as confirmed from my cellular data carrier). Sostituito oggi all’apple store di Bologna ( dopo l’appuntamento con il genius e’ stata l’unica soluzione offertami). Arrivato a casa il problema si ripresenta. Prima di cambiare il dispositivo avevo provato a far resettare la SIM e poi a farmela cambiare. Il problema e’ nello switch da 3G ad edge. Le soluzioni sono spegnere e riaccendere, riavviare, estrarre e reinserire la SIM. Non ditemi che sono della stessa partita difettate perché ci sono 25gg e 200km di differenza…c’è qualcosa che non va e finche’ ne parlate come di una possibilità Apple non si muove. Invito chiunque ha un problema a segnalarlo ad Apple e far aprire una segnalazione. L’operatore 3 non avendo edge e’ esente dal problema ma potrebbero averlo gli iPad che le montano, verificate co la SIM di un amico…a 800€ al colpo siam noi che diamo da mangiare ad apple, non il contrario. Non tenetevi un dispositivo che non funziona perché e’ Figo, anche a me piange il cuore ma o me lo sistemano o cosi’ e’ inutilizzabile e non mi interessa…
Reset SIM: nothing
Change SIM: nothing
Reset iPad as new: nothing
Change iPad: nothing
The problem still exist

Shows full celular scale and 3G. But it cannot connect to inet. I have to turn the device off and on again to get it back working. Switching Airplane mode - doest't help as well.
Tired to restart iPad every 2-3 hours.
