Q: HELP, ive broken the rule and change the account name on my macbook pro

HELP, ive broken the rule and change the account name on my macbook pro, now when i log on its different programmes and files are gone, however finder still shows they are there as the available space is the same, how do i go back

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.11)
