I can no longer get into the itunes store.
I'm using windows 7
it happend either with the new update, or when I plugged in my new ipad.
DIagnostics tells me that i can't get a secure link to the tunes store.
I know this is rampant, but I can't find an answer online.
a reinstall of itunes did not work, neither did restoring a previous version.

Could you walk us through what happens when you try to connect to the Store in some more detail, please?
It does nothing, it just keeps trying to get to the store and never connects.
It's definitely on my computer, because I can sign in on my wifes.
I've been trying various things I find here on the discussion forums but nothings working.
So far I've done the following.
Turned off real time protection in windows defender
changed the date on my computer to 2009
reinstalled itunes
restoring to different version
setting permission for itunes in windows firewall
flushing the dns through the command prompt
any advice is appreciated.
I have the same problem. I was able to sync my iphone and ipad for a few days. I logged out of itunes and cannot log back in. Using windows 7 and the problem happend after I did the latest update. I've unistalled itunes twice and connect log in and or access the store.

In the course of your troubleshooting to date, have you worked through the following document?

THat worked. Found a downloader installed that I didn't know about. Uninstalled it and it's fixed.
