About Mac OS X Lion Profile Pictures?

in My Apple Mac OS X Lion I Go to System Preferences & I Go to Users & Groups & I Want to Change My User Picture/Edit My User Picture but where in the System are those Picture Files Located?



also I Try changing My User Picture/Edit User Picture but I Change it then it goes back to the User Picture I Had & I Think it's Probably cause I Have Myself in My Address Book so thats why I Need to know where The Picture Files are Located cause i'm gonna try & Edit My User Picture in My Address Book so what should I Do now?

If you've changed it from one of the defaults, it's not a file, per se. It is embedded in the account record.

Not sure if I understood what you're looking for, but have you tried this:


Go to the Users & Groups Preference Pane in System Preferences and open it. Click on the lock and put in your password. Then click on the current picture and you should see a little drop down window with a bunch of images:


User uploaded file


Click on one you like and let go - your picture will change.
